Atmosphere Evo-Lute is a continually evolving sound installation that uses atmospheric weather data as the impetus for a weeks long musical work. As the show runs over the course of three weeks, every encounter with the piece will be subtly different as it shifts and grows with the weather conditions of Santa Fe. No two listenings will ever be the same!

We will also be joined by The Ancestral Groan Liberation Orchestra. AGLO is a collective of musicians with a wide range of musical training instigated by Martin Bach, who gather to explore unorthodox methods of music making, including structured improvisation and graphic and text scores by the likes of Christian Wolff, John Cage, David Dunn, John Zorn as well as pieces by the members of the group.

WHO WE ARE

Red Cell is the Founder and Director of The Process, a not-for-profit arts organization inspired by Gertrude Stein's "Salons" in the 1910s & 20s that specializes in creating unique venues for unusual performers and artists from around the globe. He is also currently curating the MOV-iN Gallery, a multi-media gallery dedicated to the exploration of new technologies in the arts located in Santa Fe, NM.

Red also runs The Jism Archives, a record label devoted to seeking out, producing and distributing rare and important sonic documents and aural ephemera of the avant-garde community. He is also founder and curator of “Interzone,” an international, 3-day, bi-annual experimental music and arts festival in Tangier, Morocco that is currently in the works. He is also working to begin “The End of Being,” a website that is an esoteric guide to difficult and unusual music, art, film, people and ideas.

As an Experimental Curator, Red deals with what can be called, “Difficult Art.” He offers a rarefied service to those working with extreme mediums and/or ideals that fall outside the traditional art paradigms by helping to facilitate artists in every aspect of promotion from inception to product and placement, often including some form of collaboration. Red's work is often philosophical and can take a think-tank approach to artistic endeavor. Much of his work lies in the heretical, mystical and transgressive and it is through these aesthetics that he approaches art as a transformative act and a constant life experience.
